Maycol and Merari attended Portland Bible College, where Maycol earned his degree in Theology. They were married during that season of preparation for ministry and have served faithfully ever since — investing in people and building church communities across the Pacific Northwest.
In 2025, they sensed a clear calling from God to reach the city of Phoenix with the gospel and to plant a thriving, life-giving church in the heart of the city. After months of prayer, fasting, wise counsel, and two trips to Arizona, the burden was confirmed.
One thing they know to be true: the Church is the hope of the world. And God is doing something new in Phoenix.
Why Phoenix?
Phoenix doesn't just need more churches. It needs more healthy, life-giving churches.
There is a significant gap in reaching those who have yet to encounter Jesus and existing believers who may have become disconnected, dry, or stagnant in their faith. The need is real and the opportunity is wide open.
With a metropolitan population of over 4.5 million, Phoenix is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. Thousands of young families and young professionals are arriving every year — many searching for authentic community and purpose.
We believe God is calling us to create a community where people experience the life and flow of God in a real, authentic way. Our heart is to see lives changed, families restored, and the city impacted.
